At Eris, we have been a little busy behind the scenes. After rounds of tweaking and testing, we are excited to share the result. Our website has had a complete rebuild, with a much bigger focus on speed, SEO, and performance behind the scenes.
The redesign brings new features, updated icons, and a cleaner overall appearance. A large part of the project focused on technical SEO, site speed and Core Web Vitals, with the aim of creating a faster, cleaner experience across devices alongside improved search performance.
Our website performs in the top tier of the web.
We must admit; we are quite proud of the results. Independently measured by Google PageSpeed Insights using the Lighthouse engine, our scores for Desktop sit between 96 and 100, with Best Practices and SEO scoring 100. Mobile scores range from 92 to 100, again achieving full marks for Best Practices and SEO.
Sites built on major websites typically achieve a score between 73 and 87 for desktop, and 52 and 64 on mobile devices. Fewer than half of all websites pass Google’s Core Web Vitals on mobile devices, while our site loads with zero layout shift on every device.
The redesign reflects how digital expectations have changed. Websites now need to work harder behind the scenes, balancing design, speed, structure, and performance just as much as appearance.
As more companies compete for visibility online, load times, optimisation, and technical performance have increased importance in how websites are found and used, particularly across financial services and technology.
We’ve worked hard to reflect that shift in our redesign. It’s leaner, faster, and built to perform better in search giving us a stronger platform to showcase our work across content, design, and digital.
