Denise Gee

Denise has more than 30 years’ experience in the development and execution of marketing, communications and research-led projects to inform growth strategies across continents.

Denise was founder and MD of MagnaCarta Communications, a communications agency specialising in fintech which in 2019 pivoted to Findexable, a market research company. She held senior positions at BP, Visa International and a gas-to-fuels facility in South Africa.  Other sectors include Government and Defence Communications and Television News reporting.

Findexable launched the world’s first Global Fintech Index in 2020, scoring countries and companies for fintech activity. Achieving 10,000 downloads in the first week the index became a valuable resource to identify technology hubs across markets for technology entrepreneurs scouting for talent and partnerships, and investors looking for new opportunities.

A passionate evangelist for equal opportunity, Denise spearheaded the Fintech Diversity Radar. Supported by major banks and fintechs, Women’s World Banking and key influencers, the first report on diversity in fintech was launched at the industry’s main event in Paris in 2022.

From June 2023 – January 2025 Denise consulted for a Christian youth charity, Urban Saints, which experienced the change of CEO and organizational restructure. Announcements, CEO briefings, personal calls followed by a newly instigated employee off-site to communicate the new strategy and how each fitted into the new structure.
